Event Description

A highly-recommended event for anyone who's interested in Reggae, whether you're someone who's never gotten into it, but you always felt like you just weren't hearing the right stuff, and especially if you're into reggae already. Steve Phillips aka Intrinsic brings a discerning knowledge of the genre and a real connection with its energy and depth, not to mention an impressive record and mp3 collection which he knows like the back of his hand. He also mixes it up by bringing in occasional guests djs to share their good taste. The crowd at the backpackers is interesting, too - a combination of international travellers from all sorts of places, and locals with a thing for music.
