SHIBUI GALLERY is pleased to offer a Random Weaving Basketry Workshop with Salt Spring Island artist HEATHER MARTIN-McNAB.
Random weaving is a traditional Japanese method of basket making. Bamboo is traditionally used in Japan, but this method works well with a variety of materials, such as reed, bark, and other locally sourced natural materials.
A unique and elegant basket can be created in this one day workshop.
