About

Foot Traffic

The Foot Traffic Project is the brain child of Derek Thomas who is hugely influenced by the music of 1960's. His latest offering is an EP called "More Blood for The Strings”, which weaves together well developed stories and cool riffs. The first line from the first song quickly grabs your attention, it reads "Son, I got more stories, than you've got words." From there it takes you though the life of an old man who dispenses wisdom through his life experience. The rest of the EP consists of songs about war and love, touching upon controversial topics such as the war in Iraq. Derek pays homage to old folk artists of the past, like Dylan and Young with his unique vocal styles.
