Standing in the Circle of the Cedar - Susan Hannah Rankin.wmv

A new mix of this song is the third song on Susan Rankin's album PAGAN LULLABIES.

Pagan Lullabies is a collection of music from a new genre, entitled Imagic Music.

Imagic Music is music that sounds like what it is about, creating images in the mind though the arrangement of words, sounds and silence. It uses a wide variety of instrumentation and sounds to achieve this goal and is not restricted to any single group of instruments.

Susan, who started out as a dancer/choreographer, has been working in this genre for the past thirty years.

Although she has performed to rave reviews in London and New York, this is her first CD release.

In Standing in the Circle of the Cedar, Susan has set herself the goal of sounding like an ancient cedar in the rain forest.

October 30 there will be a CD Release Party at WhippleTree in Cowichan Valley! Here's the event on Facebook:
