Sing-along Messiah (2013)

Our son, Fraser, plays in the first violin section of the Civic Orchestra of Victoria. It is this orchestra that in 1984 presented the first "sing-along" Messiah in Canada. Tafelmusik did the same two years later in Toronto. Following a hiatus of several years, it was revived in 1999 and has played every Christmas since then. Tonight was the 15th anniversary of this special concert. There were over 500 people in attendance, including several local choirs. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own score and we were seated in sections according to our voice range. Here is a 500+ voice audience choir singing the Hallelujah chorus. Lovely!
