THIS SUMMER, THE BEST ROCK SHOW IS THE ONE CLOSE TO HOME!
Pat Benatar fans started lining up at 5:30 a.m. when tickets to her show at the Cowichan Theatre went on sale. They were not disappointed. The good news is there are still great seats available for the July 9th concert featuring Pat and her husband Neil Giraldo.
Pat Benatar: she’s always been a rule-breaker and a trail-blazer, she remains a bold and distinctive artist both on stage and on record, and now, after more than three decades in rock ‘n’ roll, she’s a bonafide living legend.
Songs like “Love is a Battlefield”, “Hit Me with Your Best Shot”, “Heartbreaker”, “Promises In The Dark” and “We Belong” are as unforgettable now as they were at the dawn of MTV, when Pat emerged, fearless, fighting and forging a path for other female rock stars around the world.
Pat Benatar knows how to rock. Her feisty tunes have earned her four Grammys and three American Music Awards, and she was the first female artist to be featured on MTV. But the 60-year-old mom of two (Haley, 28, and Hana, 19) isn’t stopping yet. She and her husband, Neil Giraldo (musician, producer, arranger and songwriter) are beginning a tour across the US and Canada on June 7, 2013.

That tour includes a date in Duncan—Tuesday, July 9th, 7:30 pm at the Cowichan Theatre.

It’s a summer highlight event for the Cowichan Valley and especially for fans of Pat Benatar. If you’ve listened to her on the radio and always wanted to see her in person, the great news is you can and close to home.
