For the last 20 years, I’ve dedicated my life to the art of communicating clearly. I do it for a living and I do it in my spare time. I edit and write training materials for educational institutions, safety associations, government and the private sector. In addition, I write fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and screenplays. Recently, I completed a novel. I am currently working on a linked short story collection. In 2013, a personal essay I wrote was published by the University of Alberta Press in Shy: An Anthology. I’m a member of the Federation of BC Writers and the Professional Editors Association of Vancouver Island.
