THE POSTCARD CLIMATE PROJECT
Community Visions of Sustainability

Are you passionate about the environment? Do you like to craft or make art? We at Gage Gallery invite you to become part of a creative community vision: what change would you like to see in society toward a climate-friendly future? Or what steps would you be personally willing to take?

Draw, write, stitch, paint or collage your idea on a postcard, then send it to us or drop it off at our gallery to become part of THE POSTCARD CLIMATE SHOW, a (hopefully) massive walk-through art installation to showcase community ideas about climate sustainability and willingness to act.

You don’t need to be an artist, and all ages are invited to participate. Create a postcard on your own, as a family, or make one with friends. Add a sentence or two on the back to explain your idea.

And who knows, your submission may be chosen to be printed as an art card for sale at our Gallery to raise funds for Sierra Club, BC!

We can’t wait to receive your visions of how to build a sustainable future together — one postcard at a time.

Use the hashtag #postcardsforclimate to post a picture of your creation. Follow us on Instagram @gage_gallery_arts or on Twitter @cardsforclimate

Deadline for Submissions:
January 28, 2022

Exhibition:
February 22 - March 6, 2022
