CALL TO VANCOUVER ISLAND and SUNSHINE COAST ARTISTS

The Alberni Valley Museum is pleased to host their second juried show open to all Vancouver Island and Coast artists.

Show dates: June 26 – September 12th, 2020

Fine Print:

Artists are encouraged to respond to the theme with NEW ideas and work.
Artists will submit photos of work/s online for jurying before April 17, 2020 (see link below)
including a few lines describing your response to the theme.
Eligible works - Original works only, two-dimensional, three-dimensional, or video.
Photographic works will not be accepted unless part of a mixed media piece.
Wall-mounted works wider than 2m or higher than 2m can be accommodated by prior
arrangement.
Artists are invited to submit up to two works for consideration.
Accepted work must be exhibition-ready and for sale.
A commission of 30% will be charged on sales by the Museum, note the 2018 show at the
Museum had good visitor numbers and quite strong sales.

Key Dates 2020:
Show Dates June 26 to September 12.
Submission deadline April 17 [ the online application form will be available by February1 at
the gmail address below]
Delivery of accepted works May 9 – 12, at the Museum
Opening Reception June 25, 7pm at the Museum
Pick up at end of show September 15 to 18, 2020.
