Digital technology has a great deal to offer artists, but mastering the medium can be hard work – especially given the pace of change. This free, interactive workshop is designed to equip you with some useful tips and tools.
The evening kicks off with Terry O’Reilly, host of Under the Influence on CBC radio. He'll talk about how to promote yourself and your art with storytelling in the age of digital, and then answer your questions – live!
Then we'll move on to an overview of existing and emerging digital tools – including the Island’s new artfinds.me app. Plus you’ll get access to useful how-to videos such as digitizing art, creating meaningful content and understanding copyright.
