Theme: Voices of Women through Canadian History
We encourage women artists or those who identify as women to submit work for consideration which they feel is representative of their personal experience or a general representation of the lived female experience in Canadian Society. This theme is broad and open to each individual's interpretation. We welcome works that have a historical or contemporary focus, all media accepted including installation and video works (included in the 3D category). All works must be submitted through our online adjudication system. Works accepted into the show will have a hanging fee of $10/work for members and $20/work for non-members. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION online: 18 January 2017
This is a lightly juried show open to women artists living on Vancouver Island and the Gulf
Islands (full-time and part-time residents). This show is open to women artists of all levels, and artists do not need to be CACGV members to enter.
The submission deadline is Wednesday, January 18 at 4:30pm.
